The Christmas markets on Old Town Square are traditionally accompanied by the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree (Saturday, November 29, 2025), live performances by various ensembles, and Christmas-themed theater performances. You can also look forward to demonstrations of traditional folk crafts and other events.

The capital of western Bohemia also promises beautiful Christmas market. They take place in a beautiful setting – right on Republic Square, next to St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral and historic houses.
