Meet Santa at London Zoo

London Zoo in December is not only full of cute little animals, but you can also meet Santa and the elves! Children will also be able to harvest gifts from Santa himself, and what could be more dreamy than that? Like breakfast with Santa? It’s a VIP treat at Meet Santa events, where elves will lead you to sneak in quietly and enjoy a marvellous Christmas breakfast before the zoo opens.

London Zoo’s Christmas season runs from 23 November until 5 January. Little ones can take part in Christmas crafts before they meet Santa in his magical grotto and receive a very special early Christmas gift to take home.
The Spirit of Christmas at Eltham Palace

A museum with Santa? Sounds like a great idea. This year’s surprise Santa meet and greet event at London’s Island Crane Museum is in traditional Victorian style, with Santa’s guests receiving a special gift in the form of a toy made from traditional materials!
Those who want to model for Santa can also book a time on the afternoon of 22 November to be able to reap a free photo with Santa!
Santa’s Grotto at Hamleys

Toy Heaven Hamleys is hosting a meet and greet with Father Christmas at its flagship shop on Regent Street, London, and it’s a private meet and greet, bookings will only be accepted for groups of three or more, and only one group at a time will be able to get into the middle of Santa’s Grotto, where you’ll get to have fun with Santa and the elves, as well as receive a special gift bag!
London Father Christmas Charity Run

With hundreds of Santas running together across London, Santa in the city is one of the largest Santa runs in London, where everyone dresses up in a Santa costume and sets off from Paternoster Square on the north bank of the River Thames in London to run a marathon (4.5km) along the banks of the Thames.
Registration is now open for those who want to take part and the entry fee of £28.95 includes a full Santa costume and a medal. Even if you don’t take part and just watch, you’ll still get a kick out of the fun!
Manchester Santa Event

The biggest feature of Manchester’s Christmas market is the giant glittering Father Christmas statue, and this year it will of course be there as always, right in front of the Central Library in St Peter’s Square, Manchester.
Every year the shape of the Manchester Father Christmas varies and is a source of great anticipation, but don’t worry, you’ll be sure to see it once you’re in Manchester city centre.
Birmingham Santa Event

Rufford Abbey Country Park is definitely a place to visit during the Christmas period, when the coloured lights come on and the Christmas spirit comes out in full force. Not only is Cardiff city centre decorated with lights everywhere during the Christmas period, but there is also the lovely Santa’s Grotto, where you can meet Santa and the elves, which opens at 10.30pm every day, and you’ll be rewarded with a small gift when you buy a ticket to enter.
