The London New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show was the must-have programme back in the day! The sparkling fireworks glittered on the banks of the River Thames, counting down to the arrival of the New Year. There will be 100,000 tickets on sale for the New Year’s Eve fireworks, with the first round of tickets going on sale at 12pm on 18 October and the second round opening in early December.

Prices for this year’s fireworks will depend on location (like buying a concert ticket), with the blue, pink and white zones with the best views costing £50, and the red, green and orange zones costing £35. There’s also a special offer for London residents who can get £15 off the price of the fireworks.

4. Silent Disco in Natural History Museum

Doesn’t the idea of New Year’s Eve in a museum sound particularly cool? The venue is in the Hintze Hall of the British Museum of Natural Sciences – yes, the main hall with the giant whale skeleton hanging in the air!

Ever since the Natural Science Museum hosted its Silent Disco, it’s become a favourite treasure trove for the urban crowd, and the New Year’s Eve party has been upgraded to include not only the ultra-popular Silent Disco, but also live music, a private bar and much more, as well as a talk by taxidermy expert Zoolab.
Even cooler, of course, is the night tour of the museum! After closing time, the museum seems like something you’d only see in a film, but now you’re free to enter at your own pace, with the 60th Annual Wildlife Photography Exhibition currently on display.
5. New Year’s Eve Victorian Masquerade Ball

Choose this place to spend the last night in a romantic atmosphere that’s simply overflowing! What’s more, this year’s event is also a masquerade ball, leaving a little anticipation and surprise for 2024~.
The dress code for the New Year’s Eve Masquerade is Black Tie, which means that men will be dressed in suits and women in cocktail dresses.
6. New Year’s Eve at The Candlelight Club

Experience the glamourous vintage atmosphere of the 1920’s on the last night of 2024 and feel as if time is stopping right here and not moving forward. Wear a Gatsby-style dress, enjoy the melodious jazz, wonderful live dance, singing, dancing and having fun, the event site also has a tarot reading, vintage jewellery shop, a whole night will not be bored~!

Tickets for the party are £55 (Early Bird) / £60 (General Admission), with additional bookings for unlimited drinks (£50) and a four-course dinner (£65). The party venue is currently being kept under wraps and attendees will be notified prior to the event, which is full of surprises!
7. London’s New Year’s Day Parade

The first big event of 2025 is the New Year’s Day Parade, which has been a hotly celebrated parade in London every New Year’s Day since 1987.
Thousands of people will march through the centre of London, starting at 12 noon, from Piccadilly, along Regent Street and Telfast Square to White Hall, with bands and dance troupes presenting street dancers, brass instrumentalists, samba dancers and much more.
This is London’s biggest New Year’s celebration, with a huge variety of interesting performances, nearly 100 organisations taking part in the parade alone, numerous bands and dance troupes, and attracting millions of spectators every year. If you don’t want to say bye to 2024 so easily either, come and join the fun!
