2. Lyon Can Do It Christmas Market

The Lyon Can Do It Christmas Market is a multitude of small-scale creators exhibiting their work at the Hôtel Dieu during the festive season. A fun way to find gifts for all the family, while putting local designers to work.
3. Association Arts Pentes Christmas Market

The Association Arts Pentes Christmas Market is in the same style as Lyon Can Do It. You’ll be able to pick up some cool little decorative items and some very original gifts, including jewellery, ceramics, leather goods and decorations. Meso Music and Duo Live will be providing the musical ambience to add a touch of pep to the event. A foodtruck will also be available for visitors to recharge their batteries. What a great market!
4. Yoga Corner Designer Market

7. Place Carnot Christmas Market

The tradition continues with the Christmas market in the Place Carnot. More than 100 stalls will be selling local delicacies, festive items and exciting toys, immersing young and old in the enchanting atmosphere of Christmas.
8. Mariettes Christmas Market in In-Sted

9. Croix-Rousse Christmas Market

To get to the Croix-Rousse Christmas Market, you can either play it lazy by taking the metro C or play it more sporty by jogging from Hôtel de Ville. It’s located in front of the theatre and is much smaller than the annual one, but it’s still worth a visit (especially for its hot chestnuts and horse-drawn carriages!
10. Trattino Christmas Market

This year, Trattino (the 7th arrondissement restaurant, café-bar and grocery shop) is organising a great eco-responsible Christmas market! If you still haven’t found a present to put under the tree, now’s your chance, kittens. There will be drinks stalls and mignardises for you to nibble on. DJ Imcavale from the Des Gens Cool collective will be setting the mood with some pretty festive sounds.
11. Montplaisir Christmas Market

The Monplaisir Christmas Market is always a great way to spend some quality time with family and friends. On the menu for this Christmas event are 50 local designers and entirely handmade Christmas gifts. What’s more, this year the market is expanding with a gastronomic area featuring around 15 local producers and two foodtrucks.

At France’s biggest flea market after Saint-Ouen, every item has a story to tell, and second-hand is a real philosophy. As well as the many stalls and stands, you can enjoy a flea market, Christmas carols and mulled wine. There are also rumours that Father Christmas is due to make an appearance before his grand tour.
