Bloor-Yorkville Holiday Magic

This November and December, the Bloor-Yorkville Neighbourhood Authority (Bloor-Yorkville BIA) will celebrate the return of the holiday season with a one-of-a-kind holiday light show. Continuing the annual tradition, Bloor-Yorkville visitors and residents can shop, dine, and enjoy the neighbourhood’s arts and cultural attractions on tree-lined streets surrounded by holiday lights.

Inspired by illuminated festivals and cultural revelry around the globe, you’ll enjoy a series of festive traditions centred on light, lanterns and fire woven into mesmerising new light installations.

Opening night festivities include live performances and the grand lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree. You can get into the holiday spirit with a nighttime ice skating session and enjoy the mesmerising light installations adorning Nathan Phillips Square.
Casa Loma’s Holiday Light Tour

Experience the magic of the season this December with Casa Loma’s spectacular Holiday Light Tour. Get into the holiday spirit as you wander through the gardens and tunnels of sparkling lights.

Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the spectacular decorations, outdoor light shows and live performances while strolling through the Casa Loma’s grounds.
As always, children are also invited to visit Santa’s castle workshop.
FHPZ Snowflake Walk

Watch the 60-foot spruce trees on Ken Whillans Square come to life with more than 10,000 coloured lights and stroll through Gage Park for the ultimate holiday light experience. Enjoy a magical light show and more than 100,000 sparkling LED lights that transform the park into a winter wonderland.
Join the City for a weekend of free family-friendly activities, including stage performances, the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, rides and more! Admission is free on Friday with a donation of a new unwrapped toy to support local Brampton organisations in partnership with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation’s Miracle on Main Street! Organised!

ILLUMI is a magical, enchanting and extraordinary nighttime outdoor journey featuring thousands of monumental light sculptures.
ILLUMI’s Festival’ is a sparkling, multimedia nighttime experience that spans 600,000 square feet and features more than 20 million twinkling LED lights and the world’s largest Tree of Lights. At 47 metres tall, the Tree of Lights is twice the size of New York’s Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and consists of 44,000 interactive glowing spheres that will transform the night sky.
Giant snowmen, candy canes, reindeer, gnomes, glittering snowflakes and other dynamic displays bring visitors to 16 wonderfully themed worlds of awe. New highlights of the attraction include a jolly Candy Cane light tunnel, two brand new universes and an unforgettable opportunity to take a photo with Santa until Christmas Eve. This breathtaking outdoor journey is designed to provide guests with an unforgettable and spectacular experience.

Canada’s Wonderland transforms into a magical winter wonderland with WinterFest, an immersive holiday experience for the whole family. Explore life-like themed areas, take part in festive activities, sample holiday treats, shop for seasonal merchandise and much more.
The event includes ice skating on Snow Flake Lake, more than a dozen live shows and holiday entertainment, thrill rides, millions of brilliantly coloured lights and hundreds of beautiful Christmas trees throughout the park, including two 50-foot Christmas trees on International Street.
Whitby Lights the Night Christmas Festival

Spectacular light displays will deck out Whitby Civic Park and Celebration Square this season. Shop at Whitby Farmer’s Market At Night to add seasonal vendors. Food vendors will be on hand to provide quick bites or dine at one of Whitby’s great restaurants before attending the event.
Markham Lakeside Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights illuminates Burlington’s waterfront every December through early January. Thousands of local residents and visitors from the region and beyond have made it a holiday tradition to stroll through the park with family and friends to enjoy the themed light displays. Throughout the holiday season, tens of thousands more visitors drive along Lake Shore Drive in the city’s waterfront area to tour the attraction. This represents a popular annual tradition in the community, and 2023 marks the 28th anniversary of the festival.
This year, you can share in the festive cheer by strolling through the magical light show with family and friends!
Uxbridge Optimist Fantasy of Lights

Sail through the Fantasy of Lights – over 75 light displays from community groups, businesses, schools, churches, families and more from all over the Uxbridge area. This year’s Uxbridge Optimist Fantasy of Lights will be another special winter festival! For the past 15 years, we have been honoured to host this event put on by the citizens of Uxbridge for the citizens of Uxbridge. Our light show is one of the largest Christmas light shows in Ontario.
While the Uxbridge Optimist Fantasy Light Show is a well-known driving event, we are pleased to announce the return of the Fantasy Trail Walk! You can either drive or walk through the coloured lights.
