About London’s New Year’s Day Parade 2025

Route
The parade starts from Piccadilly Circus and travels along Regent Street, Telfast Square, Whitehall, Downing Street and all the way to Westminster. The full route is approximately 3.2 kilometres.

Tickets
The event is free and open to the public and free to watch all along the route. Due to the large number of spectators, you’ll need to get there early if you want to get a good spot in the front row.

The Grandstand seating area is located near Piccadilly Circus and costs £65 per ticket, while the VIP seating area is located near the Palace of Westminster near the end of the procession and costs £175 per ticket. Performing teams in London New Year Parade

Samba dance performances are an integral part of the parade every year, with colourful costumes and dazzling dance moves that create a mesmerising and exotic atmosphere. This year, the London Samba School (LSS), founded in 1984, will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a performance, and was the first school team to take part in the Notting Hill Carnival in London.
